The Arctic is important to Norway. 10 per cent of us live in the Arctic. And most of Norway's territory is in the Arctic - if you include our ocean territory. NATO is important to Norway, and to the Arctic as a region that is vital to security and prosperity. But my topic today will be why the Arctic is not only a regional issue, but a global one.
